Winter tires: Blizzak LM 25 or Pirelli Scorpion

I am trying to choose a winter tire to fit on OEM rims. Available tires are Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 245/50HR20 or Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow 255/45VR20.
I personally prefer Blizzaks, as these are probably more aggressive for dry roads (in reality there are only a few days of snowy roads here in Boston), but somehow TireRack does not recommend this tire for SRT.
Blizzaks are taller than Scorpions (29.8 vs 28.9 in), I wonder if this could cause any rubbing issues up front, and are designed for 8” rim (range 7 to 9). Of course they have 130 MPH speed rating, but I am not going to the race track on these anyway.
Has anybody tried Bridgestone on SRT?
Any comments are very welcome!
