Was told 22's eat brakes go 20's

I was told that if I put 22's on that I have to do a brake and rotor upgrade
to go with 20 instead. I really don't want to start messing with all that
just want some nice wheels and lower the car is this true or false.
I think staggered 20's would look nice and keep the ride comfy.

False. You do not HAVE to do a brake and rotor upgrade. Most people don't. I'm on 24s w/ no brake upgrade.

no need of upgrade, but your pads will wear much faster than stock if you get heavy a$$ 1pc cast 22"s.

I'd recommend getting 2/3pc light weight forged rims.
just my 2c

You do not have to upgrade. Especially if you go with a light multi-peace wheel. Just be aware that if you go with a 1 piece 22" wheel it will be very heavy. This will eat through your pads faster than normal and increase your stopping distance and general brake feel.

though it doesnt eat through them quicker, i believe your stop distance increases with 22s....
