I really don't think they have a separate pick up in each wheel well because I didn't see it when I was diggin in there the other day. I will check tomorrow to see how they do it on the Cadillacs. I have a call in right now with the Chrysler boys. We'll get to the bottom of this!!!

Hey Guys!
Take it from me I should know. 1st I tried going the spare tire route with all 4 sensors in it. It worked as far as only one sensor registered in the rear where the spare was closest too, meaning the other 3 would chime in with TPM ALERT! 2. It's about time they made something like the sticky tape and I like the IForged ones which hold the sensor inside. My only concern is when they take off the tire that they don't hit or break the sensor because of the way it sits inside the tire!
3. Wish they had these options a year ago when I had mines drilled out!!!

Well I found the TPM pick-up sensors. If you open the hood and look to your left under the fuse box you will see the pick-up sensor going into the inner fender well. Look at the same spot on the right side and you will see the same type sensor going into the right inner fender well.

Just for my own edification, Wouldn't the way yours (and almost mine were too, same rims) are mounted in the vertical position through the second hole cause more of a clearance problem? Are yours in the drop center?

They placed it near the drop so it's flush with the inner rim so if I had to take it to another shop they wouldn't damage the sensor.

What if you disconnect the TPM pick-up sensors? Has anyone tried to disconnect the pick-up TPM sensors located in the wheels wells? This might eliminate the need for TPM sensors inside the nice aftermarket wheels. Anyone know more details?

Yep, no way known yet how to disable the system..doing so in 07 and up will potentially get someone in hot water since its a mandated system, as I understand it.

IMO, Better to just plan ahead and get the proper mounting systems so you have a functional system, or retro fit your wheels with them when you need to get new tires, or when you feel like blowing 100 bucks.

Any other examples/ideas out there?
