Depends, Gregg. Some wheels have a 90 degree valve stem, especially multi-piece wheels, with the stem entering the rim in the middle of the hoop, behind the face or center of the wheel. Would be hard to put the sensor in there and retain functional ability to air the tire...
Some wheels won't have much clearance in there, especially with 25 series tires, so you won't be able to mount the sensor in there due to clearance issues.

I imagine yours will be able to fit the sensors. Might need some modification, such asa a bracket above, but I bet you'll be ok.

Like already stated if you remove the TPMR (tire pressure monitor Receivers) you will get the bing/chime every 10 minutes just like if you did not have the TPM (tire pressure monitors) in the wheels.

I got a grip front fascia for my Charger. The grip did not make room for the TPMR to mount to the front fascia, like they are mounted to the stock front fascia.

Here is the stock front fascia. You can see the recessed area where the TPMR mounts to.


Here is the grip fascia and no recessed area or drilled hole for the TPMR to mount to.


So as not to hear the dreaded chime every 10 minutes for not having the TPMR's installed. I removed the TPMR from its stock mounting bracket.




Then I put some 3M double sided tape on the TPMR's and moutned them to the wheel well liner in the same place they would be if attached to the stock mounting bracket, on the front fascia. If the 3M tape does not hold up, I will use an industrial strength epoxy next.

Gregg, You'll be able to mount them regardless, IMO. Many solutions out there if your wheel won't support OEM style mounting of the TPMS.

Just want to add that sensor mount problems usually apply to multi-piece wheels. Of course, not all, but some, especially with 90 degree valve stem angles. One Piece wheels usually mount just like OEM. IF you need a solution due to your rim not playing nice, check out a couple of options at the beginning of the thread. Check your rim dealer to see if they carry an adapter or bracket for your application, and ask them if they know if the OEM sensor will mount with no modifications.

hey Freebird.........if the 3m doesnt hold.........try to mount the sensor bracket to the inside of the metal bumper brace with a bolt and nut........there seems to be plenty of slack in the wire to route it over there

I did this for my fog light HID ballast..........all you have to do is drill one hole on each side in the bumper brace

I swapped my front wheels round and my sensors picked it up(as I knew because I purposely let some air out of 1 for comparison reasons)but I have read somewhere that after a few miles it resets,I'm not sure if this is true though

No, the sensors in the wheel wells pick up the signal and determine the particular wheel location automatically. You should be fine as it doesn't reset.....

Do not use the straps what ever you do. We mount tires all day long. I can't even began to tell you how much sh!t i have seen with those straps. I would use the ones cue showed you. NEVER drill another hole is your wheels.....
