It took me a while to find a powder coater to shoot in matching paint color. This guy nailed it on the Det. Yellow. He is at Armor-Tech Powder Coatings, Inc. , ask for Phil.
I have already received back the slotted rotors and calipers from them. Just waiting on the wheels now. I still need to re-install the brembo pistons back into the calipers. They seem a brighter yellow than Det. yellow, in the pic., as I used a flash when I took the pictures.
They even re-added the Brembo word back to the calipers for me.
Man free, those rotors look so clean. I love the yellow in the slots.

Damn Dr. P!!!! I've never seen anyone do that before with the paint in the slots!
Very innovative.
You do know that this will add another step in your already 8 hour wash routine. You'll have to get in the slots now with a toothbrush.
Of course, I've seen you wash Freebird and I'm sure you have no problem doing that.
You crazy mofo!
P.S. You coming to SF this year?

Say it ain't so Paul. I know you loved your 3CSRT sled. Do you still have your lincoln? What new car are you going to get?
Did you sell your exhaust cut outs?
I'll be buying my Dad some chrome Srt8 300 wheels in 22" when they are finally produced
Those will look great once they are made. I was even thinking of getting a set of the 3CSRT wheel in 22".

Hey Moose, hope all is well. Long time no talk. Anything bigger than a 22 looks too big on these cars and gives them the high water look. With 24 you can't lower the car and if you do you will be rubbing a lot.
The best set up for the LX's is a 22".
22x9.5 F running on a 265/35or30/22 (I prefer a 30)
22x10.5 R running on a 295/30/22 (You could go with a 305/30/22) But most have to roll there fenders with the 305. Some have even mentioned they had to roll there rear fenders with the 295'. I will see if I have to when I get them on the Charger.
Hey Mark, good to see you here again too. Wish you were around all the time like you used to be.
What do you think about 22's in the back (wider) and stockers in the front?
[quote=vvv90;630659]Damn Dr. P!!!! I've never seen anyone do that before with the paint in the slots! Yes you have. I did the same thing on FreebirdSRT, but it was harder to see the silver steel in the slotted rotors. I knew the yellow would pop off against the rotors.
Here is Freebirds calipers and rotors in powder coat silversteel. I did these when I painted the wheel centers in Silver Steel as well. You can see in the first pic I still need to clean the slots on the rotors. There is silver steel under the brake dust.
Very innovative.Thank you very much Dr. B.
You do know that this will add another step in your already 8 hour wash routine. Yep, it takes me a while to wash my baby but I love doing it so it is not a problem for me.
You'll have to get in the slots now with a toothbrush.
Actually I found a Q-tip works better to clean the slotted area.
Of course, I've seen you wash Freebird and I'm sure you have no problem doing that. Nope, I love giving my baby some TLC.
You crazy mofo! Back at you Dr. B, a couple of crazy mofos.
P.S. You coming to SF this year? That is the plan, will know in a few weeks for sure or not. Still trying to round up more Texans to make the lonely drive across Texas to Cali.
