It is probably heresy to say this, but I prefer the looks of the stock 18" wheels on the 300C which have a nice balanced proportion of wheel to rubber (and the price is right).
I can see where you come from. Having to go from old suspension tech. You probably felt every big pothole harder than I ever have. The crater I drove thru in my current setup (255/30 24 on 24x10 w/eibach pro-kit) made me feel better about the low pro tech along with new suspension tech. Why? I came out the crater without a scratch or bend in the wheels or a cut in the tire.

I guess real life experience trumps my vivid imagination about the consequences of encountering the pothole from hell. It just seems like there is so little distance from the rim to the tread. I still think I will stick with my 18's and just sit back admire what others do to their cars.

Sounds like a good comparo to me. I'll put them up against my trucks 305/30 26 as well. Just to see what it looks like as well. I bought two sets one for my car and the other for my LR3.

Can't wait to see them on the ride bro, you were the one that talked me into putting the 24's on my daily driver and I would never choose a different route now! Can't wait to see these guys on the charger... What are you going to do about the swing arm bolt? Make and extended swing arm?
