How is your Quaife holding up? I have been hearing that they are breaking. CMJ Performance will be coming out with a new rear set-up (gears, 1200hp axles, differential, drive shaft) that is guaranteed for life. I am not sure what to do.

Thoughts?
I would snap my half-shafts on Day 1 with these tires.

So what's the verdict on running DR's with factory 6.1 power ratings? I spent a night at the track and have now become a bit obsessed with the idea of running DR's to drag in some better times. As Moose mentioned above, it seems as though there are plenty of SRT's doing just that... running DR's on a regular basis without halfshaft problems.

Any updates? Thanks!

I run the 305/35/20 Nitto's on my 300 and have had no halfshaft issues.
My car has gone 1.73-1.78 60' with out a issue...knock on wood!!

Well that's great news! Very nice times also... WOW!

Reading through most of the posts regarding DR's, sounds as though running stock power and going for some extra traction may or may not cause me issues... but in all likelihood I should be fine.

I guess we'll see.

Also, should I just go with the 275/40/20's? Why would I need to go to the 305/35/20's? Thanks for the info!

I love the look of the 305/35/20. 12 inches of rubber on each side looks very good. Yes the 275 will do fine.

Yes 100% you just need a 1/4inch wheel spacer and there are no issues at all!!
