White Wheels?!?!

So I am obsessed with the white on white look - perhaps because its not huge in Northwest Florida, I just think its extremely classy look.

Now my question is what is the best process in getting white wheels? I heard painting, power coating, etc -

My fear is dropping some major cash on white wheels, hit a rock, and it takes the "white" off... unlike Chrome..

Suggestions?
Ideas?

Powder coating is the way to go. I don't think rocks will be a problem. You should not get hit with any from the side angle. Sounds hot! Especially in FLA!!!

Ditto on the powder coating. Our forum mod guru, freebirdSRT, knows his stuff based on such prior experiences, including rock chips on a painted grille. He now powder coats all his pieces including these gorgeous rims for his incredible Superbee!

WoW, those are absolutely gorgeous.
I do know Assanti makes some outstanding paint-to-match wheels.

FreebirdSRT is a beta tester for US Wheel and I believe they are one of his sponsors. That's who makes the rim in the photo. Mark has them powder coated by a local painter.

Do we not have a private message button? I'd love to send FreebirdSRT a message about the idea - he seems very knowledgeable!

yeah definatly go with powder coating, it can take a rock as if was nothing. If you go with paint you could run into cracking and peeling down the road because of heat. If you do get a rock chip you are going to have shiney chrome peeking out from under the paint. With with powder coating, dont think twice about it
