the satin black looks really great too. that machined face with black windows is growing on me a lot though, that will really set off my TZ grille and black tails when i get them. these wheels are going to look SICK.

Thanks for coming through D. 34.5 lbs is nothing for a 22. The satin look very nice too. If you look on ebay, the 20s are available now.

Doug - thanks for coming back to this thread and posting the info. Also, thanks for seeing this project through.

The more I look at the pics, the more I am set on the 22s with machined face with satin black windows - sign me up!

I am assuming you will be offering the full wheel/tire packages with TPMS too - what tires are people looking to run with these?

Most run 265/35's. I prefer the 255/35 personally.

Here is some info about the construction/warranty.

About our Wheels:

All Factory Reproductions wheels are manufactured exclusively for us by plants that also provide wheels for General Motors, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Mercedes Benz and others. These plants are ISO certified and produce wheels that meet or exceed JWL, VIA and TUV standards. Contrary to what others advertise there is no “DOT” certification or standard

Our wheels are tested and exceed both domestic and international OEM specifications for load capacity, side impact as well as lateral and radial run out.

About the Finish:

Painted wheels are finished using a 4 stage process which exceeds all domestic and international OEM standards.

Chrome wheels are first polished prior to plating. Copper is applied and hand buffed to eliminate small imperfections. Next is a nickel alloy layer that provides a hard and durable surface for the chrome to adhere. Finally a chrome alloy is applied which protects the nickel and gives the wheel a mirror like finish. Our plating process meets or exceeds all OEM standards. Sample wheels from each batch are routinely subjected to rigorous testing (i.e. salt spray) to assure the finish will be durable look good for years to come.

About our Company:

Headquarted in Chino California, Factory Reproductions is the original replica wheel company. We supply our product to distributors, mail order companies as well as tire and wheel stores. We are the industry leader offering more styles, sizes and finishes than any one else.

Warranty:

2 years finish life time structural, complete details at Factory Reproductions

Threads like this make my brain hurt.

On a Steel Blue Metallic 300C, what would look better in your opinion.......Machine/Silver, or Machine/ Dk. Gray? These will be 20" Rims.

It is all about the look you want. Silver will make the car more euro looking, which I prefer, and the satin windows will emphasize the spokes more, since the dark windows create a contrast.

my opinion is silver. i never really thought that dark wheels looked good on cars with 'color'. what i mean is that dark wheels, or wheels with dark features like the black windows, look great on cars with muted colors, white, black, silver, gunmetal, but on cars with real color, like blue, maroon, green, it just doesnt look right. red MIGHT be the exception to that rule, but my opinion is silver matches the blue best.

however silver with color matched steel blue windows or something like that, THAT would look hot.
