I have to agree with Licit, the change in gas mileage is minimal. The most important thing is to prevent rubbing on the wheel well. I would recommend a 245/45/20. Like a mentioned in a previous post I'm using a 245/40/20 but will be upgrading to a 245/45/20 next summer. Just as an FYI, Nitto does make the INVO in a 245/45/20. That's the tire I'm planning on getting as well. My brakes have not been an issue. I'm still able to come to a quick complete stop having about the same stopping distance as stock wheels. I dropped about $2000 for my wheels and tires and don't regret it. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Here's a couple of pics of my AWD 300 that I just put rims and tires on. The tires are Falken, fk452's, 255/45/20" and they are 28.6 inches high mounted on the rim's and just over 9" wide. The spec sheet calls them 29" but the're not quite that high. It's almost identical to the stock tire. The rims are Boss 331's, the offset is a 30mm. It does make them stick out abit but the side wall is level with the top of the fender. I prefer that over a tire that sits under. If you want the tire to sit under you need a bigger offset, like a 40 or so.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Your actual experiences and rim specs etc. are making me feel alot more comfortable about upgrading to 20's

Today I was looking at my car beside my friends 2005 str8 with stock 20's and they look sooo much better than the 18's!

I havn't done anything yet - now winter is coming and I need to decide what I'm doing soon. Problem is I have virtually new all season tires on my 18" rims which is all wrong, since if I get snows I'd like them to be on 18's and have summer tires on the 20's.....
