Painted factory wheels

I've got a 2005 Cool Vanilla 300 Touring. Its got the factory silver painted wheels on it. I'd like to go with 22's but I'll have to wait a little while. I'm wanting to paint the wheels I have now. I work at a bodyshop so that would be no problem. I've been thinking either painting them black with a flat clear so they'd be flat black or painting them like the gunmetal color of some Lexus wheels, or maybe a near chrome color. What do you'll think?

I'bve been thinking about doing the same myself. Where are you located? If you are around VA I would love to come to your shop and throw around a few ideas.
