Yah....

I had spinners on my 99' Tahoe... and it was cool for about the first month or 2... and then it got kind of obnoxious... comments like "Cool Hubcaps" coming from soccer mom SUV's...

Every other person at the grocery store or the gas station having to stop you and ask you how they work... and what they are for... what are they for?

That is the question... and the answer is... "They look cool"...

Then there is the weight issue... if you put 22" metal spinners on your ride your tire wear is going to be all messed up cuz you are going to have 15+lbs on one side of your rim... (Bad wearing, cash a pair of tires in a summer..)

Spend the extra money on some dope lowenharts...or Asanti Forged rims...

Then you will be pimpin...

Later on...

I have to agree that the days of the spinner are over.

My favorite are the guys down here in Florida that have the 87 Civic with primer spots everywhere, an exhaust that sounds like they duct taped a friggin kazoo to the muffler and the AutoZone 'spinners' that look like pinwheels! Aww yeah, sweet.

Honestly though, if you think a set of quality spinners look cool...then they are cool! It's your car, it's all good!

That sounds like a personal attack.... but I'm not sure. Hard for me to tell the difference.
