Wheels without rubbing issues

Hey guys, all this rubbing talk has made me really start to think I should leave the stock wheels on. But that is not gonna happen. LOL.

I am thinking about the TIS 07's with a 265/35/22 tire. Will I get rubbing from this setup? Correct me if I am wrong, but the offset of the TIS wheels is 18mm. Is that too much offset to run that size tire?

I may eventually lower it, but still undecided at this point. But if I need a lower profile or a different width tire later on down the road in order to lower it, I can deal with that.

Thanks

Shawn

Thanks.

I just hoping to avoid some of the rubbing problems others are having. I know there a few that say they have some rubbing when they are in reverse and have the wheel turned all the way in one direction.

I wonder if the TIS's can be ordered in different offsets??

Thanks

Shawn

If your use the correct wheel/tire set up you will not have rubbing. We have installed numerous sets of 22 inch TIS wheels on 300/Magnum/Charger vehicles and NEVER had a problem. The only way you will get rubbing is if you use the wrong size tire or a wheel that is not properly built for the 300 platform.

The issue of having the wheel turned all the way while in reverse has come up from time to time. The only explination that makes sense is small variations from car to car right out of the factory. It has nothing to due with the actual fitment of these wheels.

The TIS are not available in different offsets.

We have the 07's in stock, get them while they're still hot.

So is the 265/35 the right tire to use to avoid rubbing?

I am probably gonna go with my local wheel guy. He has beaten all the online companies so far on pricing for the wheels. He is a little proud on the tires, so will probably order from someone else.

But I do thank you for the info. Slowly starting to calm my fears. LOL.

Thanks

Shawn

TIS 22" 03's 9.5 with 15mm offset running Pirelli P-zero's 265/35-22 and lowered 1.6 with the eibach pro kit. No rubbin.

So are the offsets different for each wheel? I remember reading that the 07's had a 18mm offset.

I know its only 3mm difference, but that could mean rubbing or not. LOL.

Thanks for your input.

I'm pretty sure the TIS's are 18mm
