srt8 vs 300c tire size possibilities

i noticed the tires on the srt seemed to be wider then the tires on 20" wheels on a 300c....is this correct, do the srt's take a wider tire?

I'm not sure, but I can tell you the factory ones aren't wide enough for my taste at 245-255.

Get sum 275 meats on there!

That entirely depends on the width of the rim.

The SRT8 wheels are 9 inches and can support up to 275's, maaaaybe 285's.

As for aftermarket wheels you will need to research the maximum tire/rim width backspacing and offset to determine how much rubber you can keep from sticking out the side and rubbing on the inside of the wheel well.

As of right now, I don't know ANYONE that's running anything wider than 275's which fit just fine.

You are correct that the SRT-8 wheels are 20X9. The SRT-8 300C come with 245/45-20 in the fronts and 255/45-20 in the rears. I dont know if Ive seen anyone with 275s in the rear. I think there are some Magnum dudes running 275/40-20 in the rears with a 20X9.

That's exatcly what the '300C' pre-production model is running...both front/rear.
