Ride Quality 22" vs 20"

I just ordered a 300c and have two months before it arrives. I had concerns about the 22" vs. 20" ride and I must say I'm confused on what to do. But I'm leaning towards the 20's now.

After extensive research I was going to purchase the Dub Shoreline 22x9.5 with 15 offset and the Pirelli Scorpion Zero 265/35/22. I almost pulled the trigger on these.

Now I will investigate the Dub Shoreline 20x8.5 with 18 offset and the 275/40/20.

It will save me money and possibly a smoother ride. Please feel free to comment.

My buddy owns Biggwheels.net and he added this wheel for me

check it out: http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=wheels&action=view_model&model=Shoreline %20(SUV%20has%20covered%20lugs)&bold_id=32071

what to do....22" or 20" Thanks all for the posts...

Oh yeah...I ordered 300c in Brillian Black, Medium Gray interior, fully loaded all options except smokers package and cold weather package. I'm in South CA...

For performance and some comfort get 20". For show only get 22's. I would stick with the 20's.

This is where I am lost.....
I find 22's fit and look the best. In different pics, 20's look no different than 18's. They still look small. I was set on 20's, but then I kept looking at the pics and 22's just seem to be the way to go. I understand losing ride quality as I have a GTP that I lowered and put bigger rims on so I understand how things change. I guess what I need to do is ride in a car with 22's to see just how much it changes. I know for sure I am not dropping the car as I already had a trim problem coming out of my driveway. Its how bad can the 22' ride be????

I'm thinking of 20" wheels and tires on my silver 300c awd for the summer I'm in ny and the stock tires and wheels are good for the winter. What about the tire sensors the dealer said the light will come on all the time. Do I buy the tire valve stems with the sensors? What do I do

What Tire Sensors? Are you referring to Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)? Are you the first one here with that from feature from the factory?

Angry Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)?

I'm so pissed right now because the dealer says I can't purchase the Dub Shorline or the TIS 03 (TwentyInchesStrong) because the stem is located in the wrong place and I confirmed that my car will have the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). They said I can do without them, but I will have a light and it also makes a sound. So does everyone else ignore this problem? It's my understanding most all 300c loaded have this feature.

It was supposed to be a feature, but wan't installed until now because the Feds decided to create new regs for all cars to have pressure sensors. Apparently, they believe that many crashes are caused by tire inflation problems.

Your car is the first C I've heard of with the system installed. Do you actually have your car now?
