Update:

Update:

In my neighborhood, there are 3 majorly nasty potholes. The smallest is not really a pothole but an extended road indentation that will launch your car off of the ground at 20MPH. Actually saw some foolish knucklehead do it with the accompanying scraping and sparks.

The second has 2 orange pylons, a wooden barrier and a couple of metal gargbage cans thrown in to prevent drivers from plowing into it.

The third has nothing preventing your wheel(s)from going into it's 1 1/2 foot depths. At 3 feet wide and long, you'd go into and drag across the ground for a good bit until the tire makes road contact again giving you the op to stop, get out and pick up the pieces of underbelly your car left behind.

All of these threaten to KILL YOUR CAR not to mention any kind of rims. Maybe I'll skip the 22s and see if I can retrofit some Hummer wheels on. Maye a 300C monster truck?

-Joe

Good News for New Yorker's. The Mayor of NY announced that 6 Billion dollars will be sent on rebuilding roadways. It's about time. Just purchased my 22's...

Sounds nice....until you realize that maybe like 50 cents will make it to the actual roadway and the rest in the same limbo as the rest of the budget over the years. We've had these announcements before and I don't anticipate more than what we've already gotten, but I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway.

Even the manholes on the highway jars the spine at relatively low speed. Change your order from 22s to Hummer wheels and tires.

That depends on the type of wheel and the tire size you go with

I have rarely seen anyone with 22's say they had to roll the fenders. It is not usually required.

This thread has been the best help.

But what I find wild is, its from one extreme to another. Some people said with 22s there is no problem with anything and then some people said its like driving a jeep wrangler on boulders!! Geeeshh..

But hey.. I think ima go with 22s instead of 20s just because they just make the car look bigger and meaner on the streets.

I have a 2005 300c AWD and have been driving stock wheels for 2 years now. I really want to upgrade to 20" or 22" wheels, however, i read a post that the AWD 300c requires a different lug configuration. What type of wheels should i be looking at? Any recomendations? should i consider any other potential problems with upgrading my AWD wheels?

Thanks
