Hi and thanks for the fast advice. Yes I like the rims, hate the tyres.
I want to fill the gap as much as possible so an xxx/45/20 seems best. I assume by speedo error that also means I am clocking up less mileage as a consequence?

Riding 22''s

I'm riding on 22''s with Hankook Ventis and Eiback springs... Had to roll my fenders... not a usual occurance. I really like the ride BETTER NOW! Its SO MUCH tighter. It feels SOLID! Like my Benz used to hug corners. Seriously, I would do it again, but the plastic in the wheel wells is shredding. I was told, "that's nature, and let nature take its course"? Anyone out there that did 22"s notice this occuring and what's the solution, if any at all? Sorry I posted this question in another thread but I got no reply"s? Thanks in advance. K.

Actually, I think you are the first to report the plastic shredding. How much do they cost? I imagine it depends on tire size + offset.. many may only rub occasionally or in reverse.

Anyone else have this problem?

Does ANYONE know what to do about the tire pressure sensor (TPS) on my 2007 base 300?? I am going to put 22s on this week and I definitely dont want to be throwing that annoying light.
Can the sensors actually be transferred easily by a tire shop? Or is there a way to just turn the sensor off?

I just had wheels put on by Big-O tires and they transfered the sensors over for me at no charge. They told me in California they are required to by state law.

Hi, in the Uk i changed from 18 stock to 20's, the 3 weeks later to 22's. The 18's I have kept, have the sensors in them. Chrysler dealer would not sell me new sensors so fitted the wheels. Either set only triggered the sensor once, at the time the wheels were fitted, does not go off now. I thought it might on start up but never does. You'll notice the reading is still there but with no pressuresindicated. I was told the dealer would have to switch this function off. Not true in my case. I would have preferred to have new sensors but the electonic tyre gauge once a week is a five minute job.

Another DUB drawback - Wear and tear from big heavy rims and tires. Had to replace the front tie rod ends on 300C riding on DUBs for less than a year and less than 20k miles with the DUBs. Car has 61k miles on odometer.

Part number - 52013468AB

as I posted my front tie rod ends wore out. It also increases brake stopping distance.
