This subject will always be personal, and subjective regarding context. After researching wheels for 3 months, I decided to stay with the stock 20' wheel, but increased to a 20x9. I stayed with the 20' wheels for a myriad of reasons from performance issues, to weight, to what was best for the overall fit & finish of the cars looks.

A hub-centric wheel was a MUST, as was T6-6061 aerospace aluminum, for the build materials.

I chose these, and love them...6 weeks custom build time

I was hoping that some of you could comment on the quality of your ride on 22" wheels (for those that have 22" wheels) or 20" (for those that have 20" wheels).

I am concerned with weight and was hoping to find a larger (20 - 22" wheel) that was similiar to weight and performance to the stock ones. Love the look but I am hoping to sacrifice little in performance, weight, and ride quality.

Thanks for any and all feedback...I am trying to decide between the two sizes, and I don't want to make a mistake.
Well if you go with a mesh"or one that has thinspokes" design and most of all the weight is in the center of the wheel. It also depends on the off set of the wheel to determine the weight of the wheel because of the back pad. Mesh design is a race design that has very little unspung weight. So the thinner the spokes the better the unsprung weight is.

low pro tires are a big help when it comes to wight but how thin do you want them before you start scraficeing you ride qulatiy "my opnion if you want best of bouth worlds go with a 3 pice 22" wheel that has very thin spokes
and run 265/35/22 and if you run staggered 295/30/22 __________________
