Have a couple of questions actually... (and yes, I've searched so spare those remarks please)...
Just hit 6000+ miles on my 05C and I've started to notice the Conti's are riding a bit ROUGH. Not sure if they are the sealing or not (never did know how to check... they just say "ContiTouringContact"). Anywho, they appear to be wearing "normally" so I am hoping it's just an air pressure issue but I've seen about 10000 different threads all with different suggesstions for pressure. What should they be running at? (I don't drive HARD but I like to enjoy the car, and it'll have to run well in that nasty white slush powder of Northeastern Ohio in a few months) The car just vibrates wickedly on some roads now and they squeel like a stuck pig when cornerning at times (never used to do this and I'm not talking about really taking a turn, just normal cornering/turns). Any help is always appreciated!

If they are the self sealing type, "CONTI*SEAL" will appear 180 degrees from the verbage you listed. To get the self sealers, I believe you had to buy "Protection Group II" (tires, curtain air bags, rear park assist, cabin filter....I think, that's from old memory)
The seals say ContiSeal on the sidewall, also if your window sticker says PG II then you have the seals along with rear sonar and window curtain bags. My door sticker says 30 PSI for the tires and that is what I run, I played with other settings and found little to no difference, to answer what you should be running is on the door sticker, the best pressure for your symptoms is any one's guess, I think this is a tire/suspension issue, sadly you may need a different tire, check out the "smoother ride" thread.
Yeah, I've been keeping a close eye on that thread (and all tire threads for that matter). They've been ok up until about 100 miles ago. As I suspected, they are not the self-sealing tires (thanks for the info btw). Guess I'll do a recheck of the pressure and see if they need adjusting... or just taken out back and put out of their misery!
After logging 11,000 miles I've noticed that the front tires are wearing more on the outer edges. The rears are wearing in the middle (conti self seals). I've been running at 30psi all around. After rotating the tires, I've adjusted the pressures to 34 front and 26 rear. They should wear more evenly now.
I notice some harshness going over bumps but nothing really objectionable. If I keep a firmer grip on the wheel it won't kick at all. Also, I've never really noticed the rear suspension kick out.
Also, I just returned from a 4000 mile trip (16,000 mi. now) and the ride handling and brakes were superb! (not to mention all that passing power )It also seems to absorb bumps better at highway speeds.

What you're describine is typical of Conti's. They are one hell of a long lasting motercycle tire and will wear like IRON if driven easy.

In 2006
Protection group II is the conti self seals, backup warning system and side curtain air bags

As tires wear down, the ride does actually becomes harder, due to less tread area remaining which once assisted in helping reduce 'road shock'.

I was thinking about driving my 2005/300C from Indianapolis to Winnipeg for the Canadian Thanksgiving but I'm having so many problems with the frontend ?tires/alignment or whatever....and at this rate it the issues probably won't be resolved by then.....
I'm now thinking of flying........
I'm seriously thinking about the Goodyear's now.
