VIP Spoiler Dispute

I want to let the public know that the VIP spoilers these people are offering are a big fake. I received the spoiler and it was missing the VIP emblem. I saw that the spoiler was deformed also. Today I contacted them to speak on the missing emblem and this bright reputable business told me to contact VIP for the missing emblem. They told me there was nothing they can do about it. The spoilers all come with the emblems and they blamed VIP for not giving them emblems with it. LOL

I contacted VIP and they stated that
Wyckoff Chrysler was not even an authorized dealer.

I need you guys to give me the real deal or give my money back plus the shipping costs for sending this knock-off back.

I'm suprised you would have a problem, I have dealt with Jeff at Wyckoff plenty of times with great results(to many chrysler cars in the family), I did have a problem once that a wrong part got shipped, no problem he sent the correct part same day with a call tag for the wrong part.

All VIP spoilers have the place for the plaque in the actual mold so that is definetly not a real VIP spoiler. I know becuase we are an authorized dealer and have many customers ask us to "fill it in"...

We are selling the VIP spoilers at a "CLOSEOUT" price because we are no longer dealing with them. My mother always told me if I didn't have anything nice to say then to keep my mouth shut. And that is all I have to say about VIP. No where on our site does it say that the spoilers come with a VIP badge. You bought the spoiler at near a third the price as most others are selling them for. We actually sold this item to you below cost. Most of our "CLOSEOUT" items are sold at or below cost as we need to get rid of them. You also agreed during the "check out" process that "CLOSEOUT" items were not returnable. We cannot afford to accept returns on CLOSEOUT items if we are selling them at or below cost. If you have a defective product then you should be able to take it up with the manufacturer. We were an "AUTHORIZED" VIP dealer when we purchased them and if they won't back them up then the problem is with VIP and not Wyckoff. If they tell you that we were never a dealer then they are lying(and that wouldn't surprise me). I am sure there are members here that purchased VIP products from us because we sold a ton of their stuff when they first arrived on the scene. I am sure VIP can also supply you with a badge. Even if you have to pay for it you are still paying less than half of what anyone else is paying for it.

I thought you said in the post before this one that your momma taught you that if you didn't have anything nice to say than keep your mouth shut.

I have to step in here for AspenDog. He is correct. The VIP roof wing and trunk spoiler come with a recessed area, on the spoilers, that the VIP metal emblem gets installed on to. I bought my VIP roof wing from AspenDog (22Elite). And like James said. I like most of his customers wanted to have that recessed area filled in and smooth (no emblem). My painter did the work, since he was already doing other small pieces for me. I bought just a primered VIP roof wing and it still came with the VIP metal emblem from 22 Elite. AspenDog even called me to say he forgot to include some 3M double-sided tape for the wing install, with my shipment. I told him that was awesome he called me back, but I had enough 3M myself to do the install, after pianting.

I don't like your attitude at all. Because of the post you made to Aspendog I will make it a point to never deal with you for any reason. I don't care if your position is right or wrong. We have a great deal of politeness on this forum, none of which is exibited in your post.

The spoilers we are selling are VIP and they do have the spot for the emblem. That was one of many problems we had with VIP. We spent tons of money with them when they first came out but never got any emblems. I think they had the parts ready before the emblems ready so they shipped all of our parts without emblems. And then later would not supply the emblems and wanted to charge us for them.

Hey teeitup, you think he was polite by insinuating that we are selling bogus parts? I think not. You gotta do what ya gotta do. If you don't buy from us then you are the one missing out. I can guarantee there are a thousand happy members compared to this guy who signed up just today to start crap with just "one" post.

I may have been a little rude and I aplogize to the members that were offended but another vendor should not come into a vendor's forum and start crap.

ASPEN was the rude one here.

A point well taken. Glad to hear that there are a number of happy customers. I just think we need to be a little diplomatic. Perhaps a P.M. is in order if one vendor is unhappy with another vendor.

We can't attract more members when people are flaming one another, and that goes for both sides. Just my 02 cents.

I was not even going to post but can't sit back and read this anymore.

First of all thanks for confirming for me that the extremely defensive reaction was not an isolated incident, I hope every day is not like this for you. I did not post to "start crap" as you have said.

I posted my response not to incinuate you were selling "bogus" product (however after re-reading I can see where you may have taken it that way, it could have been worded differently), but to confirm that VIP parts come w/ emblems and an indented place for them to rest. Sorry if you were offended, and I originally did not realize that the post was in your own forum, again sorry.

I would have appreciated a PM or email to sort it out and I would have deleted/edited the post (you have the power to delete posts in your own forum anyways).

If you care, I think your customer is a bit happier now that he will be getting a VIP emblem from us...

From one vendor to another, I think we should always try and look out for one another and if I saw/felt you posted something derogatory about 22elite I would have PRIVATELY requested an explanation not started name calling and resorting to childish antics.

You would be amazed what PRIVATE communications can do.

Good Day.
