I've noticed this as well. I also noticed that the aftermarket rear decklid spoiler (pictured above) appears to have a small flat ridge running alongside the bottom of the spoiler...the OEM 'SRT-8' spoiler does not have that particular ridge.

Just placed my order for the group buy. Any ideas what is the best 3m tape to use and where to get it.

The tape should come with the spoiler.

Mr.DJ - This is only reason I decided on going with the OEM version.

Well, then you too will have the 'real deal'. Fortunately for me, my body/paint shop didn't charge me extra to paint it PXR (to match) and then properly mount it (via 3M automotive grade adhesive) onto my car's rear decklid...it does look good.
