Xtreme 4300K HID Kit installed for fogs!

As I searched and searched through these forums to find the easiest and affordable HID kit for my fogs on my C, I came across Xenon Depot and their products. All the talk about needing resistors, buzing, flickering, etc. I didn't want to deal with any of that so by word of mouth via the forums from another member I settled on XenonDepot and have to say I am VERY pleased with their product and it has lived up to everything that was said about it. Steve has been top notch with his customer service and very helpful in replying to my Q's in a timely manner. Anyway, so I got the Xtreme 4300K 9005 kit for my fogs so they would match nicely with my stock HID headlights. I installed them 2 weeks ago and must say for someone who hasn't done a whole lot of technical work on cars in their lifetime, this kit was so elementary to install. All that is needed is some time and patience to do it right. I took out the kit, studied the parts, wires, etc. and put it together in my mind prior to installing on the car. Also, reading others' posts on installation was a major help as well. So I took off the front end disconnected the neg. battery terminal in the trunk and began to go to work. I figured out beforehand where I would place the ballasts, resistors, relays, etc. so they would be out of the way, not noticeable but still easy to get to if needed. I used some 3M tape on the back of the resisitors, ballasts to place them in the fender walls and the front bumper...you'll see in the pics! I did one side at a time then the other and made sure the wiring was zip-tied up to secure them and all the other parts. It did help that I had my headlights were removed at the time because I was installing my other lights with AAC halos, made for easier working space. Then I hooked up the wiring to the power (+) post in the front and the grounding (-) wires to the posts on either side behind the headlights BUT before that I installed the 9005 bulbs in the housings which took a little modifying to make them fit nicely (so the slots would line up correctly) I connected everything up and before putting the front end up I reconnected the neg. battery cable in the back and tested them. WOW! Suckers are bright!!! Even driving last night it helps SO MUCH with illuminating the road in front of you. They are angled downward so you're not blinding anyone but it is really, really bright!!! They are a little more yellow than I expected for a 4300K kit but Steve assured me that the famed "color-shift phenomenon" would occur after 50-100 hours of use. Two weeks later they are starting to get that "whiter" look so I'll jsut keep waiting. I may even replace ALL the bulbs to a 6000K in the future, still deciding on that one. I found a nice article too that explaiined A LOT about HID technology, pretty cool: intellexual net · m k i v. Over all I am XTREMELY pleased with the kit from XENONDEPOT.COM with the overall ease of installation, quality parts and service with absolutely NO buzzing, flickering, etc. (although I am running these in the fogs so that might not matter) but regardless, if you're debating on which kit to go with from a company and you want prompt and courteous service then XENONDEPOT is the way to go. I'm posting pics but the explanations and pretty much in this write-up. Enjoy! I know I am!
