SRT Brembo vs Brembo upgrade

Can you tell me what caliper is used on the SRT?

Is it the same as the Brembo upgrade caliper?

Will the 300C Brembo upgrade work with the stock wheels? Or do you also have to swap out to 20's like with the SRT?

Thank You.

Brembo Question

I contacted Brembo some months ago regarding our brake dust issue asking about alternate pads. I was told our setup is designed for our car only and other Brembo pad would not fit nor be recommended if they did fit.

However, I would call Brembo and ask them this question. They would know which calipers would interchange with what you have or recommend whatever changes you would need to do to make it work.

I found them very helpful!

The SRT Brembos are definitely not the same as the aftermarket Brembos.

SRTs are floating caliper/fixed rotor.

The aftermarkets (Ferrari F40 or F50 typically) are fixed caliper/floating rotor. This is generally considered a better arrangement.

BUT, hands down, I would use the SRT Brembos. They have been correctly engineered to work with our cars. As Dave will tell you, there is no substitute for homework, and Brembo aftermarket kits frequently result in brake bias mismatches.
