Question How to brake?

What is a proper braking technique? Should I pump the brakes until the car comes to a stop or keep my foot on the brake steady until the car stops? Brakes are Brembo on SRT8; I’m talking about normal city driving not racing.

Smooth, steady application of pedal pressure. If you get a chance, find a wet, deserted parking lot, and pound the pedal down, until you feel the ABS kick in. Then try a gentle steering input, during a hard application. The car will turn! Search our forum for 'track day.' Lots of good info.

Smooth and steady, no point in pumping, if needed ABS will do that 10-15 times/second.
