So do ALL 2005/6 300C's SRT8's have auto adj. rear shocks?

I seem to be reading about lowering the SRT8 300C and many people warn of the rear shocks, so do all of them in 05/06' have auto adjusting rear shocks? I was hoping to lower my car with just springs, but that doesn't look to the case anymore. Thanks.

I owned 2006 300 V6 Touring, 2008 V6 Limited, and 2006 SRT8 and non of them had auto adjust.

Hope this helps

I think he's referring to Nivomat shocks which by my understanding need to be changed if you lower your car with springs like Eibach's. You could get Eibach's dampening kit also, which is 4 shocks that are designed to work the their springs or you could replace the Nivomat's with bilstein shocks.

What is the easiest way to tell if my car has the Nivomat's?

These are rear shocks only, but to find out if you have them. You will need to take the rear wheel off and look for a sticker on the shock that say ZF Sachs, they are bigger than a normal shock would be.

Yes. I've seen two owners already that were completely unaware their SRT8 had a self leveling suspension.

I've never seen one yet without them. Because they need no plumbing they are frequently unnoticed.

What did she say? NEE-VO-MOT?

Now does anyone know if rear spring rates changed on SRT8's when they dropped the knee-vo-mots?

Understand what your trying to say, but you can't run Nivomat's with lowering springs. The rearend will actually raise up and won't look right. Like having severe rake.
