New 2015 owner. Few questions regarding mods..

Hi everyone, I just recently picked up a new '15 300s hemi. I would like to lower the car and have been reading up here for a few days. Can you guys confirm for me that everything that fits the 11-14 cars will also work on my 15? I am looking at the Eibach lowering kit with part number 2837.780. This is the kit with the struts and springs. Will this fit my 2015?

In terms of exhaust...this car is so quiet stock. I have read that some folks cut out the mid muffler and leave the resonators in the rear with some very good results. I saw a video on youtube and it actually sounded pretty good. Dont know what it is like inside the car, but from what I read, and from the video I saw, I think it is a nice $100 upgrade. My understanding is if I leave the resonators alone I will not have much drone, and no CEL.

Cold air kits..Not very educated here so would appreciate some advice. I did read that some recommend only the SRT lower air box? Can you guys set me straight here please?

My car only has 50 miles on it....perfect time to start modding

That kit should fit your car as I don't believe there were any changes to the suspension for 2015. I'd check with Eibach just to make sure.

With MDS equipped cars, the best course of action is to get freer flowing mufflers and replace the stock units. Straight piping sounds good...for a while but the downside is a loss of torque. You need some mufflers in there to promote exhaust scavenging. By all means leave the resonators on. What's nice is you can try the straight pipe and if you don't like it, you aren't out that much money.

Get a good cold air kit, such as a LMI or AFE. Watch out for those cheapo eBay specials...the filters come apart and you end up sucking filter material into your engine. Not a good thing.

Concrates on your new car im4darush and great mods to start off with, I'm actually going down that path as well. Sorry to hijack your thread but I have a question for MADDOG I'm trying to chase a set of coil overs for my 2016 SRT and the suspension place is telling me that the pick up points and shocks are the same and have not changed from 2010 chassis till now 2016. Surely the chassis must of changed? Hopefully the answer will suit us both.

Cheers...

Thanks for the info. In terms of the pro-kit, how good are those shocks that come with it? Bilstein makes struts and shocks that fit the 2015. Would it make more sense to buy the pro-kit springs without the shocks, and pair them with the bilsteins? The cost is pretty much the same as buying the eibach pro-kit with shocks.

The SRT already comes with Bilstein set up, not sure I really want to go down that track of half and half,
have you had a look at these guys?

For you yes. But the standard 300s does not. There is no SRT 300 in the states anymore. Only the 300S and that does not come with bilsteins.

The eibach kit comes with their own shocks/struts. Cost for that kit is $700. If I buy just the pro-kit springs and get the bilstein shocks separately, I am just under $700. Obviously, I would rather get the best shock for the money, and I am guessing the bilsteins are it.

If you go down that path will they be adjustable ie, height, rebound, compression?
Because couldn't you just buy Bilstein coil overs?
Ah ok penny just dropped, your not after compete coilover set up....
