Someone got any more clues or ideas? Changed the glow plug module to another one from a Grand Cherokee CRD, didn't have any error codes in that car, but still the same error code in this 300 CRD.

Did you try to clear the code after fitting the replacement? These modules do seem to be prone to failure; I replaced mine a few weeks ago and I noticed that the new module is much smaller and easier to fit than the original, so there has obviously been a design change at some time. I wouldn't trust a secondhand module when new ones are available at a reasonable price.
