Cool stuff, KB!

The red 1962 Dart pictured with the ID XD 413 was quite the car. There have been several tribute cars built but I am not certain whether or not the original car survives.

It ran the early wedge engine design named the Max Wedge 413, aka the Ram Charger 413, a 413 cubic-inch engine at 13.5:1 compression and a Cross Ram induction system featuring a manifold with 15-inch runners, and twin Carter AFB 650cfm carbs. Race prepped engines made about 420HP and 500 lb/ft of torque.

A buddy of mine has a 1964 Plymouth Fury but the old engine is long gone which he's not unhappy about. It was a wheezy 225 Slant Six. His now features a 540 Cu In. MOPAR crate motor. We tease each other a lot with some fun old skool vs. new tech and vice versa stories.
