As posted, its designed that way. Only the fob will disarm the alarm.
This includes opening from the inside...for example, if you leave somebody in the car while you run into a store or whatever, use a method other than the fob to lock the doors. Otherwise, if that person unlocks the door to get out or as a convience to you as you return, the alarm goes off. Chrysler isn't unique in this, I know some Chevrolets do the same thing.
