DiabloSport InTune i3 Data Logging

I recently purchased a DiabloSport InTune i3 Tuner for my 2013 Chrysler 300c 5.7L Hemi. I am having Sean, from HemiFeverTuning.com, create me a Custom Tune. My question is, what exactly will they need to create the Custom Tune as far as Logging is concerned. Example: Idle, Rev, and WOT? How long do I idle, and is it from Cold start or Hot start? What RPM do I Rev at? What RPM do I need at WOT, or is it Speed? If there is an EXACT Process to Log, Please share! I want to give them the Info they need to create this Tune!

Sean will tell you what he needs and if he hasn't, ask him when it's time to log.

Normally he wants you to drive around town a bit, get the engine up to operating temperature, do some normal driving, then go out and do a few WOT blasts. There is no specific RPM target but what you want to do is run it hard, i.e. at Wide Open Throttle, through all the shift points.

A few short hard bursts of acceleration here and there won't hurt. Also some steady cruising on the freeway or open roads won't hurt.

Basically, just drive it.

Sean did say he would send exact step by step instructions soon. My Big question is, will Sean need me to "LOG" the Factory Stock Tune, or can I Install the DiabloSport 91 Octane Tune and "LOG" after Install? I've been pretty excited to Install the 91 Octane while I wait for the HemiFever Custom Tune, but I don't want to have to Uninstall this Tune to have to go back to the factory stock tune if that's what Sean will need to create the custom tune.

You should install the tune you want to use from the "canned tunes" provided with the programmer. The 91 octane tune is a good one to build upon.

That will become what Sean will call the "last tune written".

Then you will log according to his instructions.

I wound up having Johan with Diablotoona build my custom tune, and could not be happier! Johan nailed it on the second update! It brought out the “Beast Mode” in my 300c Sleeper, that’s for sure!

I owned the DS i3 prior to upgrading to the Trinity T2 EX Platinum, and did a great job for a lot less. Only if your looking for more bells & whistles would I upgrade to the T2. It’s a simple straight forward device that gets the job done!

Just my luck, I missed the $50 off sale by a couple hours when I got up (it was an Easter weekend only sale), lol... sigh...
