The Shelby Mustang was fun to drive on the track. Full cage; seats,; harnesses; fire system ; etc. Sticky slicks and lots of get up 'n go. Gears weren't shifting well and suspension was dumbed down for amateurs. It was fun - but not as much as my 300. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Doing more work on my race car. Going aero all round for better down force: new front clip; rockers; and rear clip. The idea is to keep air away from the underside. This will help push the car down on the track - especially in the corners:

From the Land of the Frozen North - usually well below zero here and lot of snow at Christmas. This year, I was outside bar-b-cuing our turkey in unseasonably warm weather.

Here is my 2006 SRT8, almost new, at Chesapeake Bay in 2007: And here it is, now after 130,000 miles having travelled all over much of Canada, the USA and Mexico. It is now dedicated to road racing. Never turned a bolt on the engine. Just a computer tune. Did a dyno pull 3 weeks ago...

A good fiend of mine, Terry Dale, has some VIP guests coming to Mosport. He approached me to help out. Here's a post he put up: " Well, heading back from the lake tomorrow morning. Heading to St Eustache this Saturday for the ASQ SuperProduction Finale Race. Then off Monday to get ready for...

Yes - please come! I just got a paying gig to take my race car to Mosport, to instruct some VIP's then let them drive. Scott Goodyear is part of our instructing team! The pay is very $$$ - does this mean I am now a "Pro Racer?" LOL!!!

Final Race - Third Overall For Season Last Friday nite was clear and cool, when 33 cars rolled onto the track for our final race of the season. My Group - GT2 had the largest number of cars - about half of the field. I battled the evening out with Greg in his Red Miata for 2nd place...

LOL! Yes - I could have passed him back on the straight. But Greg is a great guy who has done so much for our series. Last year his engine blew up on his vette. He now shares the Miata with another guy. Getting up to the top step is ok. It is getting down that is the problem. :)

The only companies that I know to QC each component are the UBERLUXO's such as RollsRoyce; Bentley; Maybach, etc. All the rest, just bolt the components on. I am told, though, that in the case of my Hell Cat, the engine went through a 6 hour break-in at the factory. I wonder - do the mass...
