I just saw a write-up in our local paper about the '09 Ram pickup. It stated that the 5.7 Hemi would be rated at 380 HP and over 400 ft. lbs. of torque in these trucks.

Is that correct? If so, what's the secret? 380 HP would feel real nice in my 300C.

Hi RPM300C,

We could easily get you over 380hp with your current engine.

Give me a call and we can talk about it.

Thanks,

The secret is variable valve timing and two stage intake plenum, and some other tweaks. But VVT is what will really make the difference.

Visit Allpar has Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, and Jeep car, minivan, and truck information for more details.
