hey i am currently looking for soem mods for the car, and i was wondering if 1 15inch sub would be enough or 2 12inch subs. it has the stock 6 speakers, and im tryign to get tot he point where when i turn it up the music is still clear wthout that static soudn in the back, and loud enough u can hear the trunk thump.

I have two alpine type r 12"s in a custom box and it hit's hard running 1000 watts rms to them. I also replaced all of my other speakers in the car with alpine type r as well with the new alpine in dash dvd very nice and crisp sound. It thumps

sick, so would it be fine with just the two 12inch in the back with the stock speakers in the car? dont really wanna spend a lot of money on replacing the speakers, cause the boston ones are nice enough.

Couple of questions about that alpine in-dash dvd

did you have and take out a factory nav system?

Did you loose your steering wheel controls? If not, how did you keep them?

Do you use Uconnect? if so how does that work with your system?
