This is a great forum with loads of information. Would like to see some real ET's to compare to mods done.
I ran my 300C and was somewhat disapointed.

Air Temp - 88 degrees F
Track Temp - 100+
1500 miles on odometer
In Drive, let transmission do it's own thing.
1st Run - 14.850 @ 95.33 mph
2nd Run- 14.814 @ 96.11 mph
3rd Run - 14.846 @ 95.23 mph.

Car is stock. Have Borla exhaust ready to install and Volant intake in the mail. I'll try to post the times after each mod.

Thanks,

Russ

...a 60's class drag racer, I have got to hear more! ...I have a great book that you would enjoy, its called "Super Stock - Drag Racing the Family Sedan" by Larry Davis...Tried to explain to my not so old insurance agent details about my 62 Chev Bubbletop 409/409.
Don't mean to highjack this thread but you have a Bubbletop? Very cool! It's one of my favorite cars of all time. That's a great book and should be required reading for anyone even halfway claiming to be a gearhead. This is my current version of '60s class drag racing. The Super Stocker is mine and the injected hemi AFX car is my brother's.

There's something about velocity stacks that just about does it for me.
Thanks! Yeah those stacks draw a lot of attention. When we go to car shows together I insist on driving in first. If I follow my brother's car, no one ever sees me.

You're right Mspeasl, we're lucky to have experienced both eras of Horsepower Wars. It's a great time to be a car nut!
Your times sure are consistent! You must be a heck of a bracket racer.
