so recently I had a D1S bulb burnt out, so I replaced them both last night and they both worked fine, after an hour of driving my left side shut off and the next morning my right one did too. I have checked the fuses and also tried the bulbs on another car to make sure they were fine and they worked. I dont know what it to do please help! All I have is fog lights at night and thats it.

Sounds like the factory HID ballasts have gone bad or you have a headlight switch problem. Either problem requires an electrical test to find the fault and fix it.

do I have to go with factory ballasts or can I switch them to aftermarket? Also someone told me it could be the front control module???
