Hey everyone,
I have a 2005 chrysler 300c 5.7 Hemi and I did my spark plugs over the weekend and it ran fine for 2 days.. Then as I am leaving work and go to start my car it is dead! I got it jump started using the front terminals by the fuse box and it ran briefly but would not let me go into drive or even neutral. I purchased a new battery- I still had the stock battery in so I figured it was time...and installed it thinking this may be the problem but the car still wont turn over. I then tried programming my key again and couldnt even do that.... My question is does anybody have any advice on what to do next? I want to avoid taking it into the dealorship because last time i got fleeced and ended up replacing three modules when i only needed to replace one.. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I should mention that I checked all of my fuses and they all seem to be fine

Check all your coil pack connections at both ends first.

Are you getting power to the car accessories?

Any check engine lights showing?

What plugs did you use?

Hey thanks for the reply.
Yes the car is getting power to its accesories, my concern is that maybe the car is in lockdown mode and that it must to go to the dealorship to get unlocked and functioning again. I used the stock Champion Coppper plus plugs with a .045 gap, it ran for 2 days and then died so I am doubting this is the problem. The engine lights showing are (23, 22, 20, 10) as shown in the picture attached. I do have 3 key fobs and tried to program my key again thinki9ng that might work but it didnt... any suggestions?

I only have one suggestion, short of towing it to the dealer.

Pull your negative battery cable for 30 minutes, reconnect it and try starting the car.

Do the Key dance get the codes that will help people diagnose what is wrong. If you don't know the key dance is turn the key to ON but don't start then back one click 3 times ending on ON with out starting. I hope i explained that good enough its a little tricky at first. Even after 8 years i still don't get it.

Check the status of the security light (red) on the dash if you think it's "locked down". The owners manual gives a good description of what the light will tell you.

Yep the some thing happened before to me and I had the remote starter on then too that is the only way my car starts the key will not start my car after talking to a locksmith he thinks the spring in my ignition needs to be replaced, but I don't have the money right now to fix it.

I don't have a owner manual one did not come with my car when I bought it and it was used when I got it 9 years ago

So did the key dance and checked every fuse and still nothing just cranks over but won't start. Please anyone know what it could be??
