I just purchased a 2006 300c AWD with the 5.7, but its a one owner car and only has 29,000 miles. My plan is the standard; cold air intake, long tube headers, an exhaust, a camshaft, and tune. But what camshaft should I use, I just want what could be considered "the next step up" from stock. If I do a cam I also plan to do the comp 918 beehive springs. Thank you!

Look into Inertia Cams. The Spartan is one step up from stock and you can still have MDS enabled. I'm sure there are others out there, but this one I have had experience with.

If you're replacing springs, I'd say ditch the MDS, you'll have a bigger selection of cams to choose from.

Sidewinder if you can still find one... Comp 268 is also a good strong tq cam that is MDS friendly. Some of the fastest cam only cars in the country run Sidewinders and MDS... ;) FRI was an awesome company product wise... Yet slow as molasses to produce. I wouldn't hesitate at a used in good shape sidewinder ground on a comp cam.
