Hi, I’m looking at purchasing a 2013 plate 2nd gen 300c CRD UK model. I’ve been told that the vehicle I’m interested in only has one key fob, whilst it’s not a showstopper has anyone had difficulty in sourcing a second/spare key for the UK facelift model? I’ve had a quick look on,ine but can only see spare key fobs for US models. Many thanks

Just curious, they're different?

My understanding was the European fobs use a different radio frequency for transmitting. I could be talking absolute rubbish though so happy to be corrected.

UK/EU have always used 433MHz and this frequency is now used in the US which previously used 315MHz.
The custom300cshop sells Gen1 fobs, but not Gen2. However, might be worth contacting them to see if they can help.

Many thanks for the feedback, I’m sure I’ll get a spare fob sorted out. Picking up the car on Thurs so looking forward to it

May I ask where you might have heard that? I have a spare used fobik for my '14 Charger which I understood could not be re-programmed.
Disregard, just finished programming a used Jeep fobik for my Charger, it works just fine.
