The dealership that blew up the engine paid for a tow bill and the tuning (I will chop them up and feed them to the dingos) . My credit union financed me for the roughly $9,000 in repairs, essentially an all new engine, new block, used as many existing parts that we could but anything that was even compromised they replaced. I didn't have the money or time to get into a court battle and Sue the dealership. After the new engine I took it to Alpha Motorsports in Flint Michigan and they custom tuned it, it had 550 horse at the wheels, runs like a champ. No longer has custom camshafts just stock second generation parts. Still has the custom Corsa exhaust and it still sounds nasty as hell (in a good way) . So happy I got her back. She's sitting in the garage now, winter is almost over here, she goes into hibernation for probably 6 months of the year. I play classical music lightly in the garage the whole entire time she's in there, every once in awhile I'll have a few brews and sit in it. She also gets fired up every once in awhile and bring her to the end of the driveway and back. But spring time is just around the corner and she's about to tear ass all through these roads. Cheers!
