Hey all,

New to the forum. Just bought the wife a 2019 300 Limited. Great looking car. One caveat, wife doesn’t like the chrome mirrors or door handles. She preferred (as did I) the 300S appearance but the options just weren’t available on that model.

Does anyone know of a place to get Gloss Black replacement mirror caps and door handle caps? I do not want overlays, but replacements for the plastics.

Any help or suggestions would be great!

There are plenty of suppliers around with replacement handles....Mr Google is your friend.....for example Carid.com and so on. Mirror covers and replacement handles are available in gloss and matt black, silver etc etc.......given that replacing the handles is a DIY job but very fiddly you might even consider getting then spray painted to your desired colour. Last time I purchased handles (some time ago) they were about $70 each for replacements not overlays.

I cannot find mirror caps that aren’t overlays anywhere online. Not even junk yards. At least not in gloss black. Exclusively chrome everywhere I’ve looked that has them, and it isn’t many places. Am I missing something? Are they not replaceable?

Never seen aftermarket ones, have you spoken to the guys at Carid, they're active on the forum here?

I thought the current base "touring" edition cars had colored door handles and mirrors, certainly my Gen 2 base model used to though I don't know if the pre-facelift ones are a straight swap for the latest ones

Looks like the front door handles at least are shared with the Pacifica and Journey and swap side to side. Part number here: Link though not cheap new

If you search that part number (i.e 1RH64DX8AG) throws up some availability: Auction Link

As far as I know the mirrors are one complete unit (though I think glass can be replaced) and on the latest models retail around $400 each!

Yes the handles I have found. I originally thought they had replacement covers but they don’t, it’s entire handle as you have shown.

The mirrors are a different story. I have a limited so it has turn signals in the mirrors. Touring and limited editions do not.

Hi,
I'm new too and my first time blogging or whatever this is called. LOL
I'm looking for just the caps as well. One cap either fell off or someone stole it. The other one fell off but I have it, still trying to "snap" it back on. Right now, the wires are exposed and the passenger mirror get you dizzy when driving. I have looked and searched and they sell the cap overlay over the whole mirror or sell the whole mirror. I'd like the caps silver (car color) or black but at this point I'll take the chrome just to have the wires covered. Ug!!!
I'll keep looking but at least I know I'm not the only one looking. But at least you have your mirrors all covered.

Personally, I was probably going to get 'vinyl guy' to wrap the mirror caps, window trim, and the front 'bright work'. Then I will apply overlays to the door handles.
