Do you have to get an alignment when you put 22" wheels on? Someone told me that you only need to get an alignment when you change the suspension, but not if you just add bigger wheels or tires. Any opinions?

i didnt ever get an alignment when i put mine on, and at 9,000 miles later, i think that it is time to get one. it pulls a little to the right now, but i am waiting till i get the springs on until i do an alignment.

Mine drives straight it's the shaking I am fighting. Took it back to my wheel guy who rebalanced the front but it still shakes at 70 mph. I guess I'll have him do the rears and if that doesn't work I'll try load balancing.

Get them aligned! If your alignments off... you will wear your tires down. This also explains the shake at 70+

I just added 22s last week an my ride is shaky does a alignment help with a tire rebalance does that take care of the shaking thanks

If its hoping at high spread, load balance with work, if its pulling try an alignment too. Prolly a good idea anyway so you wear your tires funky. If it hops while braking that because the brakes are to small for that big of a Wheel I put slotted and cross drilled rotors on and it stopped that.

Actually it don't hope while breaking. An it don't pull while driving its just real Shakey while driving it will smooth out then shake again

Get it load balanced. Should fix your problem. I had in don't on my 20's an no more hop at all

Is this also refered to as a road force balance. Guy on the phone said it will still viberate

Yes that's another name for it. It shouldn't vibrate or hop or bounce. I would call another place. Maybe try an after market rim shop. I've had up to 24 inch wheels on cars and I've had to have them road for balanced and it took care of problem. I don't know why they would tell you that

Ok the place I bought them from said the wheels were already balanced but I will call another rim shop today an see if they can help me more

To do alignment is it best to use the stick tires or no?
