Does anyone know if you can lower the car with 22's on it? I only want to put springs on the front because of the extensive weight in the trunk from the system, the rear already looks lowered. Please let me know...

We are going to attempt to put 1.6" Eibach's on today. I'll let you know how it goes.

It'll work....I have 2" Eibach springs on my C BUT....You will have to modify the inside edge of the wheel well. I think it looks great with 22's and lowered a couple of inches. Good luck!

Thank you....Like I said up above..the inside fender edge needs to be rolled back ...but once it's done..mmmmm IMO, it looks the best. Good luck on the quest for the 22's!

Yes, I have the 1.6" drop and everything is fine without rolling the fenders. Just watch out for those tall speed bumps...

aspendog... i'm going to get 22's and also the 1.6 inch drop.. so does it ride well and can you clear the speedbumps pretty well?

What do you mean by "rolling the inside of the wheel well's?" Does it effect it when you turn, or is it for clearing bumps? Please if you could, let us know how to modify the wheel well's. Thanks for your time BBC!

Does anyone know if you can just buy the front springs, I don't need them for the rear? If yes, how much?

I had to roll the inside edge of the fender well because in slow hard turns the body of the car would lean over on the outside edge. The tire kept bending the outside edge of the fender. It never cut the tire...just barely bent the fender. There are a couple of options...1. find stiffer front springs 2.replace or install an aftermarket sway bar.
I know I have done alot of work, but so far I have not seen another like mine!

I really dont have any problems with speedbumps now, just took a little getting used to. As far as the ride I don't feel a big difference between stock and the 1.6" drop springs. I have been on the 22's since day 2 of ownership.

Aspendog, So you didn't roll your fenders? But your tires are a different size.
Think I have 275/35/22's? I'm really concerned that I don't loose turning by rubbing.

anyone have problems with tire touch fenders on dips in highways. I have 265/35/22. It seems that tire touches the fenders when there are imperfections in the highway. I have 1.6 drop

I think 22x9's have more rubbing problems then the 22x9.5's. Thats what ive been told by a local shop here. He told me the tire expands more on 22x9 rims. Do you have 22x9's?
