The Pirelli is my choice. I've seen both mounted on the car. I personally think that the Pirelli will give a better ride because theres more rubber on the road. If you want a more aggressive look then the Nitto is what you want. The ride quality will be affectted between the two, there's just no rubber on the Nitto. Take a look at the DUB video thread under pictures and media that "C" has the 255/30/22 on it. It also has been lowered two inches.
I REALLY want to get 22's on my 300... But don't want to run the chance of mess'n up the rims w/ a bitty tire... The "P" 35 series tire is better you say... So i'm taking that this is the tire to get... Thanks in advance... L8TR...
Remember the Pirelli is a SUV tire so the ride isn't going be as smooth. I would wait until the end of the year if you can until some company releases a 22" tire for cars.
That's fine with me. The weight of the "C" will eat tires like nobodies business. The fact that the Pirelli is an SUV tire prbably is a plus in th elong run.
I hope that I can get three solid years out of the tire...
I would estimate about 30,000 miles would be put on it over the course of that time in city driving terrain. Washed three times a week and garage kept during the winter.
I am looking at the Pirelli tires also...I have not got my "C" yet, with hopes of waiting on the SRT8, but I have plans for the Sequence SQ2's on 265/35/22 Pirelli tires. Has anyone had any experience with this setup in particular? I would like to know how the ride is "really"!
I have decided to go with 22 inch Lexani firestar rims. Too many people are doing the lowenhardt thing or the TIS stuff. I have heard noone talk about these rims in particicular...
