Bought a set of Hankook 255/55-18's yesterday. I had them mounted and balanced, and what a difference!

The Conti's felt like solid rubber compared to the Hankook's. Super smooth and quiet!

There is a very limited selection to choose from in the tire market. DC chose to put a very particular size on the 300c. And a very bad one at that! The conti's "IMHO" are dangerous and ugly. Any upgrade will be felt immediately!

Besides... UTQG Rating=420-A-A Speed Rating=Y Load Rating=109



Marketing may say truck tire, but the specs. say different.

Considering our 300's (and Magnums) weight about the same as some small to midsize SUV's...unless you want super handling...why not go with a truck tire?

Who wrote the tirerack review for BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS? Did you get the 245/55x18s? I suppose you won't be expecting snow in Dallas, so why did you pick this model?
