I've noticed that many of you upgraded your cai on the 300 and srt8. My question is..........what would be the best cai to go with on my 300srt8?

since they do nothing as far as a gain...
go with the MOPAR one...
it's got a really cool logo...
and that's good for at least 4 (mental) HP...
it'll sound faster too...

I have the Mopar too, the looks sold me, but I'm very pleased with the sound as well.

The Volant looks like a stock airbox. :crazy: The Mopar one looks racey. Neither one will do much but look cool and give a little better sound.

Probably a little, but who cares. 5HP isn't gonna win the race or anything.


Get a full exhaust. That will increase your SOTP performance a bit.

CAI is for poser points. That being said, I put the Mopar one on. It looks good and it sounds good. We all do things to make our cars look better and have an individual personality - this is just one more of those things. But like everyone said, don't count on any appreciable HP increase.

Thanks you guys! Just dropped another $320.00 into the car for the Mopar CAI. I don't care if it adds any HP as long as the SRT8 sounds better and looks good when I raise the hood!
