07 300 SRT8 with factory wheels. Right now I have 245 45 20 in the front and 245 40 20 in rear.
I was wondering if anyone used 285 35, 285 40, or 295 35 20 in the rear. They are all about the same as far as the diameter circumference. I wanna use little wider tire in the rear.

Any thoughts?

275/40 is about as wide as you can go (safely) on the stock 9" rims. You will need a wider rim 9.5-10.0"+ to use a 285 up.

yep

yep, 275/40/20 works well on our stock rims.

I know guys using 305's, but you can't tell me there's not some distortion there.

Nothing like a reverse rake LOL Leave that tire size on the front and go to 255/45R20 or 275/40R20 on the back. The 255s are actually taller, can't go wrong either way.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 275/40 fits the front without interference of the 2006 SRT8?
Yes it fits well.
