Hi Guys ,

While having a good look around under the bonnet today I noticed a Grey box next to the fuse box ( see pic ).

I'm guessing its a chip tune box but it has no label on it or markings of any kind , has anyone seen one like this before ?

I'm not keen on these things but it makes me even more suspicious of it as I don't know who made it .

Don't recognise it. The most popular for the 300c are the CR2 or Spyder but it's not one of those. I guess you've traced the lead to see where it plugs in? which if a tuning box is usually the fuel rail.

It appears to be connected to the fuel rail , I take it I'm right in thinking its ok to remove it ? Like I said I'm not really that keen on chip tune boxes .

if it is on the rail all they generally do is fool the ecu into providing a higher injection pressure thus more fuel in the same injection timeframe.
safe to remove if so.
