Is the used value of 300c CRD on the slide. I've just noticed cars being dumped in car supermarkets.
Cargiant.co.uk, themotorhouse.co.uk, trade-sales.co.uk all have cars.

Whatcar.co.uk value for a two year crd is 60% of the new value and 3 year is 48%

I've been watching the asking prices for used CRD's since December last year when I decidedI was going to buy a new car. I noticed the asking prices slump around the time the 08 plates and new 08 model came out. But been holding the 'slumped' value OK again.

It also depends where the cars are located. I've noticed on average 1-1.5K increase in price when purchasing up North compared to down around London.

Thats just my observation, I'm no expert.

Black also appears to hold its value better.

Probably Chrysler trying to get rid of the used old spec before they introduce the new model. A short term move but it will erode the price in the long term.

More competition keeps the price down in the south east.

Agree totally. If you don't want a car to depreciate in value, stick a 5k deposit on the diesel Audi R8 drive it for a month and then sell it at a profit to those on the waitlist. Of course that only works if your in the first batch of vehicles :pat:
