My 2007 300C 5.7, has been put in the garage for some updates/upgrades and I'm wanting to ask if anyone knows the best way to drain all the fuel out, as it will be months before it goes back out on the road and I don't want stale fuel to cause damage/problems.
Thanks in advance.

Ethanol blended fuel currently in the car? Thinking I read where Canada outlawed non-ethanol blended gasoline - sad and pathetic. I few years back, I parked two fuel injected Triumphs for 17 months. Filled both with non ethanol gasoline and added Lucas Standard (non ethanol blend) Fuel Treatment before parking them. I replaced the batteries and both lit right off.

Ethanol blended gasoline? I would add ethanol fuel treatment to a full tank, drive it enough to make sure the fresh gas is all through the system. I think you'll be fine for up to six months. There are several brands available; Lucas happens to be my favorite

Another good product is Sta-Bil, it's been around forever and I've been using it for decades. It gets added to all my fuel cans when they're filled. By doing that, I never need to think about the gas going bad in the snow blower, lawnmower, generator, or the 20 gals kept for the vehicles... can't say I've ever let the gas sit for 24 months but certainly a year or a bit longer and never a hick-up. After a year or so, it gets poured into the car or pickup and the can's are filled fresh & treated again.

As Joe said, run it long enough to be certain the treated fuel is throughout the system.
