hey everyone im havin a tuff time picking between a 300C or Dodge Charger w/Hemi. I like the 300C because its more luxury than the Dodge Charger. But I want to be different. Everbody I see where I live at has a 300C or basic 300, I seen only a total of 3 Chargers out on the rode.. But I still love the 300C but the Charger w/Hemi is less expensive than the 300C. I dont know which 1 to pick....

5.7L = 300C
6.1L = Charger SRT8

Alias,

welcome aboard!
If you can wait 'til the end of the last part of the year.....all I can say is the SRT8 Charger.

I luv my 300C and wouldn't change for the world! The ammenities in the 300C do outway the charger R/T but if you want somethin' mean the srt8 charger is the way to go. If you want a more refined look with some nice chrome the 5.7L 300C is the way to go.

The choice of course is yours.....GLuck

thanks guys i appreciate ur opinions, the 300C was 1st on my list anyways but the Charger started to come in the pic a lil bit. But yea i dont have that much money 2 be buying the SRT's yet. Imma stick with the 5.7's for now. Plus gas is to high! Im going to test drive the 300C this weekend at the Chrysler event going on in my area (Washington D.C.). The 300C looks more luxury!!!!

I have driven both and I think the biggest difference comes to the exterior styling. I though the interiors were the same. The engine is the same. I didn't find one more luxurious then the other. I mean common, its a Chrysler, how luxurious are you going to consider it? Especially when the engine and the interior are the same. Ok, maybe if you consider the wood trim in the 300C, but you only find that on the steering wheel, shifter, and door pulls.

My new preference is the sporty feel in the Charger and that it is smaller in size. It will be easier to park. I have a few people that potentially want to buy my 300 this weekend. I'm jumping ship.

It's your nickel, buy whichever one that you like best. I haven't driven the Charger, but my dealer got one in, and I took a look at it. I was pretty disappointed in the styling of it, but that is just me.
I really like my new 300C, and I would think that the Charger is going to be a little less coushy, after all it is a Dodge, not a Chrysler.
Good luck with the decision.

The 300 C has more luxury features then the Charger that are not that visible at 1st such as

Rain sensing wipers
Dual one touch windows
Reverse tilt mirrors
auto dimming mirrors drivers side
Automatic climate control
Dual front air conditioning zones ( Charger has 1)
Wood/Tortoise shell accents
Memory Settings 3 ( Charger has none)
Adjustable pedals
Rear Parking Sensors
Xenon Headlights
Auto Headlights ( headlight dusk sensor)
Headlight washer

There are quite a bit of luxury items in the 300 C that are not available with the Charger.

PPI you most be blind. The Chragers interior isn't even a close second to the C's
interior. The chargers exerior styling is something my Grandparents would love.

The Chargers a bust !

The 300C is the most menacing looking car on the road !!!!!!!!!!!

just my two cents and by the way since your jumping ship stay off this site.

Yarbie, I'd take your two cents and raise you a grand if you'd follow your own advice... :nutkick:

Yarbie, I guess some lessons are hard-learned... if you can't say anything nice, sound familiar?

And btw, ANY and ALL CONTRIBUTING members are welcome here, no matter what they drive!
Especially welcome, are those that can share a difference of opinion with respect for others, try it!!

Absolutely no comparison between the two........The looks say it all...
No Charger is going to get a second look, except from some young kid....

A Chrysler 300 is in a CLASS all by itself! I never get tired of looking at it, and get a lot of jealous looks every time I drive it.

After being out for all this time, the 300 is still the hottest ride out there!

I think it is hotter now than the Charger will ever be!

Even little kids turn their heads and point when I cruise by.

I don't think you will have that type of appeal with a Charger.

I like the Charger..especially with the Daytona graphics and the rear spoiler.
The 300C is classy - the Charger is sporty.

Hey, I've had two of my friends in the last week (both around 30 year's old) tell me my C is "an old man car"....LOL!!! The only other person that told me that was my wife when I bought it, and she's only driven it ONCE!!!

Everyone will have their own opinion, and most here drive 300's so it's going to be biased for the 300. But...That's why they made 3 models from this platform!!

If it's an LX, as far as I'm concerned and it's an awesome car, 300, Magnum or Charger - you can't go wrong ride!

In fact, all of the MnG's and the On Track event I'm trying to organize is open to all LX's and SRT's.

Tekhen, you just wrote what I was thinking about...
:silly:

I may buy the SRT-8 Charger.... It depends on what it will look like on the inside and how the ride is.

I'll go with the C over the Charger. At first when i saw pics/videos of the Charge i really liked it but after seeing 2 @ the dealer the other day i really didnt like them that much. Dont get me wrong they still look ok but the C just looks alot better. The front of the Chargers are to small. To be honest they look like the Mustang.

I'll probably keep my car for a long time, because I really enjoy it, as well as all of the attention it continually receives...that is, unless I decide to eventually replace it with a '300C SRT-8' somewhere down the road. I do plan on purchasing the new Dodge 'Challenger' (R/T...hopefully with a 'Super HEMI') which is slated to go into production toward the end of this decade. In the meantime, I also plan on purchasing the new Chrysler 'Imperial' for my wife, whenever it becomes available...possibly sometime later next year. I too have already seen the 'Charger', but was disappointed that the exterior styling lacks 'that special' visual appeal...IMO. :cool2:
